Gary Coleman has died at age of 42 today. Coleman suffered what appeared an intracranial hemorrhage was hospitalized this past Wednesday. He fell into a coma and rumors began circulating that his death was imminent. RadarOnline reported that the plug was pulled this morning as his wife father looked on.
Coleman famous for playing fast-talking Arnold Jackson the hit show “Different Strokes”. The show aired NBC for 8 seasons before being canceled and was picked up briefly ABC. When the show was at its height, Coleman made almost 70,000 an episode. However, his acting career never flourished post “Different Strokes” and he fell some rather hard financial times the last few years.
He gained some notoriety 2003 when he ran for governor of California recall election. He surprisingly finished 8th garnering over 14,000 votes.
Coleman is survived by his wife, Shannon Price.
